phlnch's poem 'my parade' [7/6, 11:37]
for years, i misunderstood the
rain. always had a show
to run in the sun
as the grass would burn
underneath my feet.
drove on canopied streets, nobody
ever told me they were
parched
under the unrelenting pressures of
the day.
